Technical Support Engineer
Position Description:
As a technical support engineer, the candidate is responsible for R&D engineering support, including general engineering documentation (BOM, ECN, special manufacturing instructions), create wiring/cable diagrams, evaluate engineering prototype components within commercially available equipment, limited scale firmware development, and liaison with manufacturing and field service. Candidate must exhibit a strong work ethic, set a high standard for quality, and be effective both as an independent contributor and as part of a team.
Needed Competencies and Skills:
Requirements:
Have a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of commercial engineering experience, or relative equivalent.
Key competences:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of engineering methodologies and processes
- Proficient with AutoCAD or equivalent, Solid Works a plus
- Able to create bills of materials, engineering change notes, general instructions
- Strong communication skills – written and oral
- Proficient digital and analog hardware troubleshooting skills
- Able to work quickly, independently, and prioritize critical tasks
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS
- General microprocessor fundamentals
- Able to research and evaluate electrical components and assemblies
- Program using C and RISC assembly a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills

Hardware Design Team Lead
Position Description:
As a hardware design team lead reporting directly to the Engineering Director, the candidate is responsible for managing the design and development of digital and analog hardware circuits to include estimating scope and schedule, moderating design reviews, mentoring team members, and accomplishing personnel performance evaluations. The candidate will understand system requirements, develop detailed functional requirements, debug and test new product designs, and develop product test plans to meet product specifications. Candidate must exhibit a strong work ethic, set a high standard for quality, and be effective both as an independent contributor and team leader.
Needed Competencies and Skills:
Requirements:
Have an M.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of product development including at least two years of team lead/management experience, or relative equivalent.

- Altium Designer / DXP for schematic capture and PCB layout
